I submitted here recently and so many fantastic and supportive people complimented my change, but wanted me to show the change in my face.
The photo on the left is from June 2009, when I was 16 years old and weighed 495 pounds.
The photo on the right is from last week, where I’m a 21-year-old who weighs about 220 pounds.
I was a member of a study at the NYU medical center to see how the lap band surgery affected people under 18. After doing that, eating more healthily and running 5 days a week, I’ve dropped about 270 pounds.
